ISRAELI WAR ON IRAN

Several Latin American countries have issued strongly worded statements condemning the U.S. military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling the attacks a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez described the strike as a direct breach of international norms and the UN Charter. Colombia’s Foreign Ministry urged a return to peaceful dialogue and rejected the unilateral use of force. Venezuela described the military action “aggressive and illegal,” while Chilean President Gabriel Boric denounced it as an act of lawlessness, reaffirming his country’s commitment to defending international legal principles.

Mexico’s Foreign Ministry emphasized the primacy of diplomacy and peaceful negotiations over military intervention, calling on all parties to resume talks and avoid further escalation.
